Leal-Trejo Starts Internship Program

Leal-Trejo, P.C., would like to highlight the firm’s summer 2009 intern Krystal Flores.

Flores is originally from Montebello and attended Bishop Amat High School in La Puente. She is a senior at Yale University, majoring in history.

The firm is proud to have selected Flores because of her interest in law and passion for education reform.

She is a staff member for Yale’s La Casa Cultural and was formerly an executive board member of the Ivy Council, a student-government, philanthropic and diplomatic-centered student consortium of the Ivy League. As part of the Ivy Council, Flores traveled to China, Europe and the Middle East for student-based international diplomatic engagements.

She hopes to work as a diplomat or, here in the States, revolutionizing education within the public school system while continuing to work on multicultural relations. Flores is considering a joint MBA/JD program.
