22 Oct Last Presidential Debate
Francisco Leal, form city attorney for Huntington Park realizes the significance of this last Presidential debate. Tonight’s debate could be the determining factor for who will hold the lead throughout the final stretch until Election Day. The topic tonight will focus on foreign policy, which is slowly becoming the most important subject amongst voters, next to the economy. Two months ago, most Americans would argue that the economy was the most important topic, however given recent events following the assignation of our Ambassador in Benghazi, growing tensions between Iran and Israel due to Iran’s nuclear surge, and the continued spring uprising in the middle east, foreign policy and domestic security are the hottest topics of the election. Tonight’s debate will provide the last opportunity for both President Obama and Governor Romney to candidly argue why their approach to this important topic is different from each other’s, as well as convince the voters as to who would be better in the inevitable times of crisis.
